When Scheduling with the office, they will reserve an Appointment with you. Most likely they will give you a time window. The office can also have the inspector give you a text or a call when they’re in route so that you’re not having to wait there the entire time.

The office will take a credit card to store it on file to reserve your appointment. Credit card can be used for payment after the inspection is complete or you can pay with a check. But a credit card has to be on file for us to reserve the appointment.

Next, the inspector will arrive and check in with you. The inspector will begin with diagramming the exterior of the home and inspecting the exterior of the home. The inspector will then move to the interior of the home and garage. The last area is to be inspected, will be the attic and the crawlspace, these areas tend to be the dirtiest so we save them for last.

Although most people commonly referred to the inspection as a Pest Inspection , California refers to them as WDO inspections, which stands for wood, destroying organisms. So the inspector is looking for wood destroying organisms, which include Subterranean, termites, dry wood termites, surface, fungus, fungus dry rot, wood boring beetles, carpenter ants and carpenter bees and other Wood destroying organisms.

Nature Pacific Pest Services is certified for both wood, destroying organisms and general pest which includes rodents. So if your inspector notices that there is rodents in the attic or crawlspace; He will mention it on the report as an information item and upon request he will also include pricing on a separate estimate for the non-wood destroying pests.

What to expect when getting a pest inspection done with Nature Pacific Pest Services

After the inspection has been completed, and the inspector has taken all his notes. He will go over some of the findings with you and collect payment. After payment has been collected, you will receive a receipt, indicating that you paid for your inspection and on that receipt will be some notes from the inspector a brief synapse of the inspection. On that receipt will be some photos attached for your reference.
The official Pest report aka  California WDO pest inspection report will be sent to you within two business days. On the report will be prices for any section one and section 2 items that need to be corrected. We are also able to make any upgrades or remodels that you may want to do after buying a new home.
